Before work begins, customers receive clear guidance on what pressing can and cannot address, along with pricing based on each comic’s fair market value.
Services include pressing to flatten defects that do not break colour, such as spine rolls, reading wrinkles, and light creases. Press and Clean adds dry surface cleaning to lift dirt, while an extra-service option covers work such as additional cleaning, press cycles, or spine fixes, subject to assessment and customer approval. Prices start at $20 for pressing, $30 for Press + Clean, and $40 for extra services, in Canadian dollars.
Freshly Pressed Comics also provides examples of treated books, documented grade changes, and a free online comic grade estimation tool. Customers can view an order estimate without signing in and track books through the process.
