Fresh Start Children's Home

Fresh Start Children’s Home Limited is a residential care provider offering a supportive, nurturing home for children and young people with emotional and behavioural needs. The home accommodates up to six young people aged 8 to 16 and provides both emergency and planned placements for local authorities across the country. Its approach centres on safety, respect, emotional wellbeing and consistent relationships, with individualised care plans shaped around each child’s needs and participation.

Services include education and learning support, such as help with homework, school engagement, learning resources and educational activities when a school placement is unavailable. Young people also receive regular one-to-one key work, opportunities to contribute to meetings and decisions, and support to maintain safe family contact where appropriate. The team provides personalised safeguarding and risk management, working with local authorities and other professionals to coordinate care. Outings and activities offer opportunities for enjoyment, confidence-building and new experiences, while wellbeing support and life-skills development help prepare young people for adulthood.
