Welcome to Fresno Chaffee Zoo! Located in Fresno, California, our zoo offers a unique and immersive experience for animal lovers of all ages. One of our exciting exhibits is Roo Walkabout, a walk-through exhibit featuring an array of fascinating Australian wildlife. Completed in September 2016, Roo Walkabout is home to red kangaroos, wallaroos, wallabies, emus, and kookaburras.

This multi-species exhibit allows you to get up close and personal with these incredible creatures. The walkthrough portion of the exhibit is open on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays during regular zoo hours and is included with your regular zoo admission. In addition to Roo Walkabout, our zoo also offers a wide range of other exhibits and attractions, including African Adventure, Bird Show, Butterfly Garden, and more.

We strive to provide educational experiences that promote wildlife conservation and offer programs like Summer Zoo Camp, Field Trips, and Zoom-Mobile.
