Founded by Wilhelm Bußmann in 1904, the business has cared for graves there since 1981 and has maintained the wider cemetery on behalf of St. Mauritz Church since 1992. Julia Falk took over its leadership in 2021 as the fourth generation of the family.

The company provides grave preparation, including new-grave setup, soil replacement and preparation for headstone installation, as well as initial planting after a burial. Ongoing services include cleaning, pruning, seasonal planting, repairs and redesign. Customers can arrange individual or long-term grave care, with flexible service levels, contract periods and documented maintenance; advance care plans are also available. Bußmann advises families on planting, materials and personal grave design, with consultations offered in a calm setting and costs explained in advance.
