Friendly City Fishing is a locally operated charter service offering inshore and nearshore fishing trips around Swansboro and Emerald Isle on North Carolina’s Crystal Coast. Owned and operated by Capt. Matthew Littleton, the business draws on his lifelong experience fishing local waters, tournament success, and nearly a decade as a fishing guide.
Trips are available in half-day, three-quarter-day, and full-day options, as well as hourly eco tours. Friendly City Fishing also offers docking and boating lessons for visitors who want to learn local navigation and boating skills. Charters target a range of inshore and nearshore species, including red and black drum, flounder, trout, sheepshead, cobia, Spanish and king mackerel, and black sea bass.
The boat is a 22-foot Pathfinder bay boat equipped with a Yamaha engine, trolling motor, hydraulic anchor, electronics, and sound system. Fishing gear, licenses, and fish cleaning are included. Trips depart from Casper’s Marina in downtown Swansboro, and rates cover up to three passengers, with capacity for up to six.
