Friendly Paws Vet Clinic is a small-animal veterinary practice located in Aberdeen, Maryland, serving local pets and their owners. The clinic’s philosophy emphasizes a holistic approach: treating the whole animal, considering underlying causes of health concerns, and supporting wellness through nutrition, exercise, and stress reduction. Its facilities include digital X-ray and ultrasound equipment, a surgical suite, and an in-house laboratory. The clinic’s veterinary team describes its approach as compassionate and focused on building lasting relationships with clients while providing a comfortable, low-stress experience for pets.
Friendly Paws is closing because its lease is ending and Dr. Brad Price is retiring after 30 years in veterinary medicine. The closure is effective October 31, 2026, and the clinic is no longer scheduling veterinary appointments. Clients are being referred to Aspen River Veterinary Hospital in Belcamp, a privately owned small-animal practice led by Dr. Jennifer Wharton. Aspen River is taking over Friendly Paws’ patient medical records. For records or further assistance, clients can contact the clinic or Aspen River directly.
