Friends for the Fight

Friends for the Fight is a 501(c)(3) organization rooted in the Kingsport, Tennessee, oncology community. Its work reflects the belief that facing cancer involves more than medical treatment: patients may also encounter significant financial burdens. Through a community of compassionate volunteers, the organization seeks to ease these pressures and offer patients practical support and hope.

Friends for the Fight also works to educate the oncology community. Its Clinicians for the Cause event brings together local hematology and oncology professionals, including physicians, pharmacists, advanced practitioners, nurses, and social workers, for education and discussion. The program includes a clinical presentation on cancer care updates and opportunities for pharmaceutical representatives to share information about their products with providers.

The organization invites individuals and industry partners to take part in its efforts and events. By supporting patients while helping connect healthcare professionals with oncology education and treatment information, Friends for the Fight fosters collaboration and solidarity in the local cancer community.
