Friendship Botanic Gardens

Friendship Botanic Gardens is a nature-focused destination in Northwest Indiana, offering more than 100 acres of landscaped gardens and wooded areas for recreation, gatherings, and special occasions. Open to the public from May through October, the Gardens invite visitors to enjoy more than three miles of walking trails, a children’s garden, birdwatching, fishing in Trail Creek, and seasonal cross-country skiing. Visitors can explore at their own pace, join activities such as guided hikes or outdoor yoga, or attend family-friendly community events throughout the year.

The Gardens also provides a scenic setting for weddings, corporate retreats, and private events. Wedding professionals help couples plan their day, with venue options among the gardens and wooded grounds. Private event spaces and event support make the site suitable for gatherings of different kinds. Daily admission is available at the gate, with discounted entry on Wednesdays, and memberships offer another way to visit. Friendship Botanic Gardens also welcomes volunteers, offers field trips and tours, and invites community support through donations and event sponsorships.
