Friendship Corner Daycare is a licensed, non-profit Montessori daycare in Coquitlam, British Columbia, serving children from 30 months to school age. Established in 2008, it offers a safe, nurturing environment where children can explore their interests, develop independence, and learn at their own pace. The centre provides bilingual English and Mandarin care, Monday to Friday from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m., and accepts government childcare subsidies.

Its age-based programs include a toddler program for ages 30 months to 3, a preschool program for ages 3 to 4, and pre-kindergarten for ages 4 to 5. Activities and learning areas support social and language development, sensory exploration, creative expression, early literacy and mathematics, and school readiness. The Montessori approach uses hands-on materials, self-directed activities, mixed-age groupings, and guidance from trained educators. Children can also take part in yoga and movement, hands-on science, art, and Bible stories.

Friendship Corner’s BC-certified educators maintain a 1:8 staff-to-child ratio. Families can contact the daycare to ask about enrollment or arrange a tour.
