Friendsonthehill

Friends on the Hill is a parent-founded after-school activity club created in 2024 to provide children with enjoyable, caring and high-quality after-school care. It was established by parents from Julian’s Primary School, Streatham site, after the closure of their previous club, with the aim of keeping children in a familiar venue and together with their friends. Managed by parents and run by childcare professionals, Friends on the Hill became Ofsted registered in September 2025 and accepts most childcare vouchers.

The club operates Monday to Thursday at the Crypt of St Peter’s Church on Leigham Court Road. Staff collect children from the school buses and accompany them to the venue, where the programme runs from 3:30 to 6:00 pm. Children can take part in arts and crafts designed to build skills through individual and group projects, as well as enjoy daily free play and time to unwind. The club also provides a meal and a selection of healthy snacks. Friends on the Hill welcomes enquiries from families interested in joining.
