Friesen Bird Farm

Friesen Bird Farm is a Texas-based wholesale bird supplier, continuing a tradition of exotic bird care and breeding established by McDonald Bird Farm in 1975. In 2024, Friesen Bird Farm acquired McDonald’s Bird Farm and carried forward its commitment to quality, healthy birds, and attentive customer service. The business serves wholesale accounts only and does not sell birds to individuals.

Its offerings include wholesale parakeets, society finches, and zebra finches. Each bird is hand-graded and packed by owner and operator Conrad Friesen, Iris, and trained staff. Birds are checked for overall health, including their beaks, eyes, feet, and feathers, and must meet the farm’s grading standards before shipment. The farm says its birds arrive ready for immediate sale, helping retailers prepare them for customers.

Friesen Bird Farm welcomes customers ranging from independently owned shops to larger multi-store operations and values long-term relationships. Wholesale buyers can contact the farm by phone or through its website to ask questions, learn more, or place an order.
