FriesenPress is a Canadian publishing services provider that helps authors self-publish their books. Describing itself as Canada’s largest provider of its kind and the world’s only 100% employee-owned publishing services provider, the company has partnered with thousands of authors and supported the publication of more than 10,000 titles since 2009. Its employee-owner team offers services spanning the publishing process, including editing, book coaching, design, illustration, printing and distribution, audiobooks, marketing and publicity.
Authors can choose among publishing paths named Launch, Classic, Signature and Masterpiece, as well as children’s publishing services. FriesenPress also provides learning resources such as an Author’s Guide, free training, a blog and a book awards list. Its website highlights author testimonials and success stories, including awards, professional reviews and media coverage.
The FriesenPress Online Bookstore sells books printed on demand, with purchases directly supporting independent self-published authors and providing them with the highest possible royalties, according to the company. FriesenPress is part of Friesens Corporation, a North American book printer established in 1907
