The Friesian Horse Society (FHS) is dedicated to promoting and preserving the majestic Friesian horse, a breed celebrated for its striking beauty and amiable disposition. Established in 1992, FHS has been a vital resource for North American breeders for over two decades and operates as a non-profit organization. With UELN recognition, FHS ensures that all registered Friesians, Part-Bred Friesians, and Arabo-Friesians have internationally traceable lineage, adhering to the stringent standards set by their Dutch origins.
FHS offers comprehensive services, including registration of Friesians, access to approved breeding stallions, and resources for pedigree verification. Members benefit from educational materials, classification tours, and access to a supportive community through forums and events. The society also conducts genetic health programs, ensuring the sustainability and welfare of the breed.
Whether you're an experienced breeder or a horse enthusiast, the Friesian Horse Society serves as a hub for all things Friesian, fostering a passionate community around this extraordinary breed
