Frigo Logistics is Poland’s leading logistics operator for temperature-sensitive food products. The company specialises in the distribution, transport and storage of deep-frozen products, as well as dried, fresh and liquid food products. The company provides international sea, air and rail freight services. Frigo Logistics currently provides exclusive services to five of the largest retail chains operating on the Polish market and a group of around 100 food manufacturers. The logistics operator delivers products requiring controlled temperatures to more than 4500 points throughout Poland. Frigo Logistics has ten distribution centres: in Żnin, Radomsko, Czeladź, Żdżary near Szczecin, Lublin, Nowy Dwór Mazowiecki and in Wrocław, Mysłowice, Błonie near Warsaw and Gdynia. In total, it employs over 700 people. It operates a fleet of about 100 own vehicles and about 450 vehicles on the basis of permanent cooperation with subcontractors. It cooperates with around 150 permanent carriers. Frigo Logistics was established in 2001, and since 2004 it has been part of Nichirei Logistics Group Inc. Nichirei Group ranks first in the Japanese market and fifth in the world among companies specialising in transport services for the food industry.
