Frikirken i Norge | Oslo is an evangelical Lutheran church with congregations spanning from Alta in the north to Lyngdal in the south. Their vision, shared with FriBU, is to build inclusive communities where individuals are seen, encounter Jesus, and are equipped to live as His followers. Together on the mission is Frikirken's motto, with the synod, districts, FriBU, and headquarters collaborating to fulfill the shared mission of sharing the gospel both locally and globally.

Frikirken has a total of 82 congregations throughout Norway and offers associated membership opportunities. The local congregation serves as the primary point of contact with Frikirken, providing support and engaging in various tasks and challenges. Frikirken was established in 1877 with the belief that those who confess the Christian faith should govern the church.

Their doctrine is grounded in the Bible and the confession of the evangelical Lutheran church. Frikirken also operates several educational institutions, including Stavern folkehøyskole, NLA Høgskolen, Tønsberg Bibelskole, Gå Ut Senteret, and Kristen Videregående Skole Nordland. In addition, Frikirken recently introduced a new magazine called VEIEN, which publishes three times a year and offers online content covering news, debates, and articles.
