Frisky Fox Vineyard, located near Riceville, Iowa, is a family-owned and operated farm that is passionate about growing high-quality fruit and producing exceptional wines. Established as a small vineyard and winery, we specialize in cultivating cold hardy grape varieties such as Brianna, LaCrescent, Frontenac Blanc, Louise Swenson, Osceola Muscat, Petite Pearl, Marquette, Verona, and Sabrevois. Our primary focus is on nurturing our grapes and fruit to ensure that we create the finest products for our valued customers.

Originally, the vineyard started with just 30 vines in 2010, but it has since expanded to feature over 550 vines on the property. We also collaborate with local vineyards to source additional grapes and fruit. While our main focus is on crafting wines using locally grown cold hardy grapes, we also produce small batches of wine using grapes from other regions.

We firmly believe that wines produced in the Midwest will continue to flourish and gain recognition as new grape varieties are introduced. Please note that our winery is located on a gravel road
