Frisson is a maternal support network offering spaces for listening, reflection, and emotional support. Its Desabafa service invites people to write about experiences or feelings they may find difficult to express aloud. The service is free, anonymous, welcoming, and nonjudgmental, with no character limit. Each submission is read exclusively by Frisson’s founder and treated with respect, care, and confidentiality. With consent and anonymity preserved, selected accounts or excerpts may also inform Frisson’s talks, events, content, and projects.

Desabafa is intended as a space for sharing and support, not a replacement for psychological or medical care or emergency services. The site directs people experiencing emotional crisis or suicidal thoughts to Brazil’s CVV, a free, confidential support service available around the clock by calling 188, and advises seeking urgent help or contacting SAMU at 192 in an immediate emergency. Frisson also provides a library and contact information, alongside terms covering the use of submitted accounts and images.
