Frivilliga Radioorganisationen (FRO) is a voluntary defense organization established under the Regulation (1994:524) on voluntary defense activities. Our organization serves the total defense by providing trained personnel in the areas of radio communication, signals protection, and cybersecurity. We are proud to offer a range of products and services to support both the military and civilian defense sectors.

Membership is open to men and women of all ages who are interested in contributing to the nation's defense. We provide youth courses that offer an opportunity to experience military life and learn about network technology and cybersecurity. Additionally, we recruit personnel for combat positions during periods of heightened readiness and war, as well as provide support to the community during various crises.
