Frogfoot Fibre

Frogfoot Networks is a South African open-access fibre infrastructure provider that helps homes and businesses connect to the internet. Rather than selling internet service directly, Frogfoot operates the network and enables customers to choose an internet service provider (ISP) for their connection. Its Fibre to the Home service replaces copper cabling with optical fibre, offering advertised speeds from 30 Mbps up to 1 Gbps for faster downloads and improved connectivity. Customers order through a preferred ISP, which accepts the order and confirms their details; once the service zone is live, an installation team arranges a home installation. A compatible router is provided through the ISP.

For selected areas within its home-fibre coverage, Frogfoot also offers Frogfoot air, an entry-level, Wi-Fi-only fibre solution with stated speeds of 25/10 Mbps. It uses Frogfoot’s existing network, supports 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi and does not require an additional router from the ISP. The service is installed with a standard access build, allowing customers to keep Frogfoot air or upgrade to a standard Frogfoot fibre line.
