About From Lads To Dads
From Lads to Dads is a community-based support organisation helping young fathers and fathers-to-be navigate parenthood and become positive, involved role models in their children’s lives. Based primarily in South Dublin, it also provides mobile sessions to make support accessible in different locations and according to fathers’ needs. The organisation offers a safe, confidential and non-judgmental space where fathers can connect, share experiences and build confidence, resilience and practical parenting skills.
Its services include therapeutic support for fathers, antenatal and postnatal courses, infant massage, a parenting programme and the ten-week From Paternity to Birth and Beyond course. This programme offers practical advice, emotional support, and coping and communication skills for fathers at different stages of their parenting journey. From Lads to Dads also provides guidance and resources on parenting, healthcare and legal matters, drawing on its network of professionals and experts.
Its team includes experienced fathers, child development professionals and community advocates, united by a commitment to supporting fathers and nurturing stronger family relationships
