Frontera Healthcare is a Federally Qualified Healthcare Center (FQHC) providing healthcare services across a 4,000+ square mile service area throughout the Hill Country and Central Texas. Our Mission To provide quality, accessible and affordable primary health care to the residents of the FHN service area. About Frontera Healthcare
Frontera Healthcare Network (Frontera HCN) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit serving rural communities in Texas. Its mission is to provide quality, accessible, and affordable primary health care to residents of its service area, with a whole-person approach that does not depend on a patient’s ability to pay. Frontera accepts Medicaid, Medicare, and most commercial insurance, and offers sliding-scale discounts to eligible patients.
The network provides medical and behavioral health services in Brady, Fredericksburg, Junction, Mason, and Menard. Its clinics offer primary and preventive care to help patients maintain their health. Licensed therapists support people experiencing concerns such as anxiety, depression, and anger management, with appointments available virtually and at Frontera medical clinics. A pharmacy also helps patients obtain needed medications at affordable prices. In Fredericksburg, the organization additionally lists primary care and walk-in care.
Frontera aims to deliver respectful, compassionate, and culturally and linguistically competent services, while partnering with community organizations to promote health and prevent disease. It also provides after-hours care information and patient portal and bill-payment options.
