Frontier Fields

Frontier Fields is a brand that aims to push the limits of the Hubble Space Telescope and provide unprecedented views of the universe. Since humans have existed, we have looked up at the night sky and wondered about the mysteries of space. Frontier Fields understands this curiosity and has combined the power of Hubble with the help of giant cosmic lenses in space to reveal galaxies 10 to 100 times fainter than any previously observed.

With a concentrated effort, Frontier Fields will devote 560 orbits around the Earth to observing six clusters of galaxies and six parallel fields near these clusters. These observations will allow us to delve deeper into the universe, understand the evolution of galaxies, trace the history of star formation, and gain insights into dark matter. The gathered information will be made publicly available for the astronomical community to explore.
