Front Line Defensive

Front Line Defensive provides firearms education in Williamsburg, Michigan, serving Traverse City, Kalkaska, and communities across Northern Michigan. The brand helps responsible gun owners build safe handling habits, practical skills, and confidence through instruction centered on firearm safety.

Courses include Michigan Concealed Pistol License training, covering handgun operation, shooting fundamentals, safe storage, conflict avoidance, and the legal use of force, with classroom discussion and live-fire instruction. Defensive Handgun courses develop skills such as drawing, reloading, clearing malfunctions, moving, engaging multiple targets, and making defensive decisions. The Art of Conceal Carry and Firearms Basics offer additional learning opportunities, while AR-15 101 introduces the platform’s controls, operation, shooting fundamentals, and basic maintenance.

Front Line Defensive also offers women-only classes, including handgun introductions, CPL training, and defensive handgun instruction. These courses provide supportive, pressure-free guidance on safe handling, recoil management, firearm selection, concealed carry, and personal protection. Led by instructors Dan Brewer and Nicole Renee, the training is available to students from beginners through experienced gun owners.
