Front Range Farrier Services

Front Range Farrier Services LLC provides equine hoof care with an emphasis on natural balance, soundness, and the overall well-being of each animal. Owned and operated by a graduate and member of the Equine Lameness Prevention Organization (ELPO) farrier school, the business serves barefoot and shod horses of all breeds. Its services include routine hoof maintenance, lameness prevention and corrective care, and the use of glue-on composite shoes when appropriate to support healing, comfort, and performance.

The approach considers both physical care and animals’ mental well-being, and the farrier welcomes collaboration with veterinarians on more challenging cases. Front Range Farrier Services also encourages owners to learn about their horses’ hoof care needs, whether they are experienced equestrians or new to horse care. Special attention is given to young equines: the business notes that foals with fairly straight, normal legs generally should receive their first trim at three to four weeks, with earlier intervention considered when needed to address significant limb deviations
