Front Steps Housing & Services Cleveland

Rising Well is a Cleveland-based nonprofit serving individuals and families across Northeast Ohio with integrated support for mental health, housing, and substance use recovery. Formerly known as Front Steps, the organization has worked in the community since 1986 and is committed to reducing health disparities and improving quality of life. Its person-centered approach recognizes each individual’s needs and aims to support overall well-being, not just immediate concerns.

Services include behavioral health and mental health assessments, substance use support and prevention, QMHS services, case management, family support, residential services, housing assistance through St. Joseph’s Commons, and telehealth. Rising Well also offers opportunities to get involved and contribute through giving, community events, and partnerships. The organization emphasizes excellence, inclusivity, cultural sensitivity, and collaboration, with a compassionate team focused on helping people access care and resources. Rising Well reports serving 3,800 individuals and families since 1986 and providing 24,469 nights of shelter in one year.
