Froukje de Vries

Veterinary Educational Training (V.E.T.) is the business of veterinarian Froukje de Vries, focused on improving horse welfare and helping riders enjoy their time with horses. Its core service is Natural Balance hoof trimming, which combines veterinary knowledge, specialist hoof-trimming training, and experience in hoof and limb balance. Rather than considering the hoof alone, Froukje takes account of each horse’s posture, conformation, injuries, and physical abilities and limitations. Where appropriate, she also considers the horse’s management and provides related advice. The aim is to support healthy horses with functional hooves and satisfied owners.

V.E.T. also offers accessible, tailored theory lessons about horses for children and adults with an interest in learning. The lessons are designed to make learning enjoyable while building understanding of the horse, supporting better cooperation between horse and rider and more rewarding riding experiences. The website includes information about the approach, services, prices, availability, offers, and client references. It also announces that Kerry Point treatments will be available soon.
