Frühe Hilfen Reutlingen is a service of the Reutlingen district, affiliated with its Educational Counselling Centre. Its small, flexible team supports pregnant people and parents of children up to age three, regardless of religion or background. The service offers confidential, free and straightforward guidance for questions, concerns and difficult family situations, including pregnancy counselling and pregnancy-conflict counselling. Parents can also receive information about family planning, contraception and local support.
The wider Family Support and Family Education service helps families with children up to 18 find suitable preventive courses and other resources. Its offer includes open parent meetups, family courses, weekends and recreational programmes, with some activities free of charge. Through the state STÄRKE programme, families can access additional education and support. The service also provides information for single parents, including meetups, counselling contacts and opportunities for education and recreation. An interactive local services map and a free family guide help residents find nearby assistance. The weRTvoll initiative works to improve every child’s opportunities for participation across the district.
