Established in 1907 by Sunkist, Fruit Growers Supply Company is a leading agricultural supply company. We are the oldest non-profit supply cooperative in the nation and have grown alongside the West Coast’s citrus production. Originally created to assist Sunkist, today we offer our services to everyone in agriculture.

Our expertise extends beyond citrus; we have earned high satisfaction ratings from growers and packers in various commodities including stone fruit, avocados, nuts, grapes, and row crops. Before our establishment, members of the Southern California Fruit Exchange faced challenges in obtaining reasonably priced box shook for their shipping crates. To address this, the Sunkist citrus growers formed Fruit Growers Supply Company.

We managed timberlands and mills and acted as a purchasing agent, ultimately lowering costs and increasing access for producers. As times have changed, our services and products have evolved as well. Today, we prioritize sustainable forestry practices and adhere to the Sustainable Forestry Initiative (SFI) 2015-2019 Standard.

We integrate responsible conservation practices with our land management, harvesting, and reforestation efforts.
