Fire Rescue Victoria (FRV) is a modern fire and rescue service dedicated to enhancing safety across Melbourne and regional Victoria. Established on July 1, 2020, as part of the Fire Services Reforms, FRV operates 85 fire and rescue stations throughout the state, employing professional firefighters who are on duty 24/7. The service is committed to responding to a variety of emergencies, including structural fires, complex rescues, road accidents, medical emergencies, and hazardous materials incidents.

FRV works closely with the Country Fire Authority (CFA), a vital network of community-based volunteers that contributes significantly to the state's fire safety capabilities. The organization aims not only to respond to emergencies but also to promote fire prevention through educational programs that enhance community resilience. By driving systemic change in building standards and regulations, FRV focuses on creating safer environments. With a commitment to public safety and community education, Fire Rescue Victoria stands as a pillar of support for the people of Victoria.
