FS Rainbow Seeds

Free State Rainbow Seeds (FS Rainbow Seeds) is a community-driven South African organisation advancing health equity, human rights, dignity and social empowerment. It serves communities across the Free State, North West and Mpumalanga, with a focus on LGBTQI+ people, adolescent girls and young women, and other underserved groups. Its programmes combine inclusive healthcare, HIV prevention and treatment support, youth empowerment and rights advocacy, helping people access services and opportunities in safer, more supportive environments.

FS Rainbow Seeds offers confidential HIV testing, treatment-adherence support, PrEP referrals and links to partner clinics, alongside psychosocial counselling, peer support and mental wellness programmes. Its work also includes sexual and reproductive health education, life-skills training, school programmes, community workshops, mobile health drives and door-to-door outreach. Through survivor-centred support, rights education and trusted referral pathways, the organisation addresses gender-based violence, discrimination and stigma. Its adolescent and young people programmes strengthen health, agency and wellbeing, while services for men who have sex with men and transgender communities provide affirming care and support.
