The Foundation for Shrewsbury Education (FSE) is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization dedicated to supporting and enhancing the educational and technological needs of students and teachers at Shrewsbury Borough School. Serving the school’s K–8 community, the foundation helps create a learning environment that encourages growth, exploration, and achievement. Its work includes procuring advanced technology, supporting innovative educational programs and activities, providing teacher training, and offering scholarship opportunities.

FSE also awards grants in partnership with teachers and administrators, helping bring educational resources to the school community. Its contributions have included funding participation in technology-focused education events and helping the school reach a one-to-one Chromebook ratio for students. The foundation supports annual educational software licenses for the student body.

Fundraising is central to this work, with the Shrewsbury 5K Classic and Grapes & Grains Community Party serving as key community events. Through donations and support from local businesses and families, FSE invests in tools and opportunities intended to enrich students’ learning experiences and empower educators
