Flugplatz Neustadt an der Aisch

The Flugsportgruppe Neustadt an der Aisch e.V. is a flying club that has shared its passion for aviation since 1928. Based at Flugplatz EDQN in Neustadt an der Aisch, the group operates the airfield and maintains its facilities and aircraft. Its activities span gliding, ultralight and powered flight, as well as model aviation, with weekend flying when conditions allow.

The club’s instructors train aspiring pilots for glider, ultralight and powered-aircraft licences, offering flexible start times and individual support throughout training. Visitors can book introductory flights in aircraft including the DR-400, ASK 21 and BREEZER, and enjoy views of Neustadt and the surrounding region from the air. Model flyers of all experience levels are welcome at the club’s separate field in Dottenheim, which has grass and asphalt runways and accommodates aircraft ranging from beginner models to jets and turbine helicopters.

Other experiences at the airfield include tandem parachute jumps and skydiving training through the Fallschirmspringerclub Neustadt Aisch.
