Lightshare is a nonprofit behavioral healthcare organization focused on helping individuals and families affected by mental health and substance use disorders. For more than 50 years, it has provided compassionate, affordable care, serving Sarasota County and people able to access its programs from across the country. Its evidence-based, patient-centered approach is tailored to each person and supports families throughout the recovery journey.

Lightshare offers treatment for substance use disorders, mental health conditions, and co-occurring challenges, combining therapy, medication, and other supportive resources. Services include inpatient and residential care, day and night treatment, intensive outpatient and outpatient programs, and telehealth options. A specialized residential program also supports expectant mothers seeking recovery. Wellness and medical services are designed to promote mental, physical, and emotional well-being.
