About Familysupport
Family Support Trust (FST) is a local Zimbabwean non-governmental organization dedicated to providing medical and psychosocial support services to survivors of sexual abuse and gender-based violence. Established in 1997, FST operates as a registered private voluntary organization and initially focused on child survivors up to the age of 16. Over the years, FST has expanded its services to include prevention and capacity building for communities, with clinics in Harare, Chitungwiza, Mutare, and Beitbridge.
In alignment with its vision of a nation free of sexual and gender-based violence, FST incorporates adults in survivor-friendly clinics as well. Committed to values such as confidentiality, accountability, safety, equality, and dignity, FST continues to lead efforts in child safeguarding and promoting children's rights. With a dedicated team of medical professionals, counsellors, and support staff, FST works towards its mission of eliminating child sexual abuse and gender-based violence in Zimbabwe
