Developed by students of the Department of Informatics Engineering of the former TEI of Thessaly (Larissa), now the Department of Digital Systems of the University of Thessaly, under the guidance of Professor Fotis Kokkoras, fuelCY offers a range of versions for iOS, Android, and web browsers. With fuelCY, users can view fuel stations and fuel prices on a map in Cyprus.

Depending on the version, the application utilizes the device's GPS or allows users to select a region on the map to retrieve data. Additionally, users can specify the type of fuel they are looking for. The application also allows users to contribute by indicating the correct location of fuel stations, thus improving the service for all users.

The basic information of the fuel stations, such as name, address, brand, telephone, and location, as well as the fuel prices, are obtained from the Fuel Prices Observatory. fuelCY aims to become the most popular fuel price information application in Cyprus and continuously improves its applications based on user feedback.
