Fujiya Hotel is a historic resort hotel in Miyanoshita, Hakone, founded in 1878 as Japan’s first full-scale resort hotel. Its collection of distinctive buildings combines classic architecture and heritage details with modern comfort. After a major renovation lasting more than two years, the hotel reopened in 2020, continuing its tradition of thoughtful hospitality. Many of its buildings are registered tangible cultural properties.
