About fukui-rice.jp
福井のお米を食べよう！キャンペーン is a Fukui Prefecture rice-purchasing promotion administered through the Fuku App and the Fukui Happi Coin program. It encouraged app users to buy eligible Fukui-grown non-glutinous rice and receive 1,000 yen in Happi Coins for each qualifying purchase, up to 5,000 yen. Eligible products were rice bags of at least five kilograms bearing the campaign sticker; customers applied by entering the sticker’s serial code in the app’s application form.
After review, rewards were deposited directly into the app’s Happi Wallet during the month following application and could be spent at participating Fuku App merchants, with approximately 4,600 locations listed. The campaign ran from March 21 through August 31, 2026, and closed when the application period ended. Final reward distribution was scheduled for late September 2026, and issued points remain usable through December 31, 2026.
The campaign used Japan’s Priority Support for Local Communities Grant. Its administrative office provided campaign inquiries and support for the Fuku App and Fukui Happi Coin program
