Fukui Premium Gift Certificate is a local initiative aimed at supporting the residents of Fukui City amidst the rising cost of living. With a focus on stimulating consumption within the local economy, the program allows each household to purchase up to two sets of gift certificates, enhancing access to essential goods. Each set costs 2,000 yen and contains certificates worth 3,000 yen, presenting a premium discount of 50%.

The certificates can be acquired at various locations, including all post offices in Fukui City, major commercial facilities, and participating supermarkets from July 1 to July 31. The utilization period extends until September 30, enabling residents to redeem certificates for food and daily necessities, with some exclusions such as taxes and high-resale-value items. By leveraging government support through regional revitalization funds, Fukui Premium Gift Certificate contributes significantly to the community's economic resilience and encourages residents to engage with local stores, thus benefiting the overall economy
