About Fundação Ageas
The Ageas Foundation is a corporate foundation that belongs to the Ageas Group Portugal. Founded in 1998, we have a national scope and hold the status of IPSS (Private Institution of Social Solidarity) and Public Utility. However, what truly defines us is our inclusive approach, bringing together people and partners to solve social problems and enhance our community's quality of life.
Our main focus is on promoting corporate volunteering and empowering social economy entities, as well as individuals in vulnerable situations, both current and potential. We practice traditional philanthropy, but we are always ready to innovate our approach because solving social issues requires scalability. We provide donations, invest in impactful projects and offer mentorship. We strive to help social impact projects become the best versions of themselves.
