Fundação Jorge Antunes is a private Portuguese social solidarity institution based in Vizela. Its mission is to support the development and comprehensive education of young people, while contributing to the social reintegration of people facing hardship or social and moral risk. The foundation advances this work through initiatives that promote education, opportunity, community participation and local heritage.

Its programmes include the Bolsa FJA Mérito+, a scholarship launched for the 2024–2025 academic year to assist students who achieve strong grades but have limited financial resources, helping to foster greater equality of opportunity. The foundation also partners in Vizela Vale Encantado, a project focused on identifying and valuing the fauna of the Vizela municipality. Another initiative, Memórias de Vizela, collects, catalogues, analyses and publishes material about the area’s tangible and intangible heritage. Through these activities and partnerships, Fundação Jorge Antunes supports young people and vulnerable communities while contributing to cultural and environmental projects in Vizela.
