Fundação Condessa de Penha Longa is a Portuguese Private Institution of Social Solidarity that manages Colégio da Gandarinha in Cucujães, Oliveira de Azeméis. With a history rooted in the former Asilo da Gandarinha, the foundation continues a social mission focused on children’s education, development and well-being. Its school is set within a five-hectare property, offering a natural setting for learning and social growth.

Colégio da Gandarinha provides an integrated range of services for children at different stages. Its nursery accommodates up to 55 children aged four months to three years, while its preschool has capacity for 75. The primary school follows the national basic education curriculum, with classes limited to 25 pupils. The CATL after-school and leisure programme can serve up to 80 children and is open to both school pupils and children from outside the college.
