Fundació Estimia is a Barcelona-based organization supporting people with disabilities and their families. With more than 50 years of experience, it provides educational, occupational, residential, family-support and leisure services for people at different stages of life. Its concerted school serves students aged 3 to 21 with special educational needs, while its occupational centre supports adults with disabilities and promotes social inclusion. The foundation also operates a residential service for people with disabilities.
Through SAFE, its family-support service, Estimia offers specialized guidance and accompaniment to families. Its Respir programme provides inclusive leisure activities and respite opportunities for children, young people and adults with physical and intellectual disabilities. The foundation also describes therapies and activities for people affected by neurodegenerative conditions and stroke.
