About Fundación Borincana
Fundación Borincana is a non-profit organization based in Puerto Rico, dedicated to driving the development of a modern, resilient, and distributed energy infrastructure. Our mission is to empower individuals and communities by promoting critical capabilities in renewable energy and fostering workforce development. We strive to unlock markets and investments to help Puerto Rico and our planet reach their full potential.
At Fundación Borincana, we believe in the power of consumer empowerment, supporting renewable energy development, and facilitating workforce growth. Through our programs, we provide financial education, project development advice, and training in solar technology design, management, and sales. We also offer independent analysis of photovoltaic systems with storage.
Our impact over the next five years includes attracting investments through PRECAP, training a significant number of individuals through SOLAR IT, and advising hundreds of small businesses through GRUPO ASI.
