About Fund. Carlos Casares
Fundación Carlos Casares is an organization dedicated to promoting reflection on Galician society and culture inspired by the life and work of Carlos Casares. Founded in 2002 by the writer's family and friends, the foundation offers a range of activities and services. These include the XIX Curso de Medios Audiovisuais de Celanova, a forum for discussing the future of Galician audiovisuals; exhibitions such as Kristina Berg.
Unha moza viquinga, showcasing the work of the artist; and Sorrisos por un mundo, an exhibition exploring humor in Carlos Casares' writings. The foundation also collaborates with other institutions to improve cultural accessibility and organizes contests in Nigrán to foster awareness of Carlos Casares' work among young people. Through their initiatives, Fundación Carlos Casares aims to keep alive the legacy of Carlos Casares and stimulate dialogue and cultural exchange
