Fundación INVAP

Fundación INVAP is an organization in San Carlos de Bariloche, Argentina, working to ensure technological development serves a fairer, more sovereign society with greater environmental awareness. Its purpose is to inspire people and organizations to use science and technology to address social and environmental challenges. The Foundation supports initiatives and community-based organizations with scientific and technological approaches, connects community needs with technical solutions, and promotes diverse, inclusive participation in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM).

Its programs include Emprendé ConCiencia, which supports and strengthens ventures using science and technology for socio-environmental transformation; Mujeres Moviendo el Mundo; Experiencia Sur; +ConCiencia; and workshops on household energy efficiency. The Foundation also collaborates with companies and public organizations to create positive community impact and supports technologies with direct beneficiaries. Its work reaches cities in two countries and includes accelerating socially and environmentally impactful ventures, engaging participants in programs, and encouraging girls’ interest in science and technology. Fundación INVAP invites organizations and individuals to connect and contribute to its work.
