Fundación Musical Lagar is a Chilean non-profit institution dedicated to music interpretation and education. Their main objective is to democratize and decentralize access to the enjoyment, learning, and practice of music as a fundamental right. Fundación Musical Lagar offers various projects and services to achieve their mission. These include: 1. Formative Orchestras: They execute projects of formative orchestras in educational establishments, serving as a vital part of their work as a foundation.

2. Orchestra Lab: This is a training space for musical practices and orchestral improvement. It brings together around 80 young instrumentalists with a group of trainee conductors on a monthly basis.

3. Santiago Citizen Orchestra: It is an open symphonic artistic ensemble that welcomes musicians, from both amateurs to professionals, from the entire Metropolitan Region. It provides a diverse space for mutual enrichment and encounters.

4. Soñando Música: A scholarship program that provides high-quality musical instruments to children and young students of children's and youth orchestras throughout Chile, allowing them to benefit from having their own instrument. 5.

Online Training Courses: They have developed distance learning courses in collaboration with renowned director Rodolfo Fischer, Pasantía Basel (Switzerland), and Proyecto pedagógico Nuestra Mirada (Argentina), during the global Covid-19 pandemic. Fundación Musical Lagar is authorized to receive donations under Donation Law N° 21. 440.
