Fundación León XIII is a renowned organization that has been dedicated to improving the lives of people living in vulnerable rural communities in the states of Chiapas, Guerrero, and Oaxaca for nearly three decades. Our approach revolves around the individual, and we begin by establishing Trust Groups where individuals can practice the habit of saving and access small loans. This helps them increase their assets and enhance their quality of life. Our vision is to empower participants in the Trust Groups, enabling them to recognize their dignity, unleash their full potential, and improve their homes and incomes.

We have a wide presence in over 350 communities across 80 municipalities, working with 10 different ethnic groups. Our accreditation, dedicated team, and board of directors demonstrate our commitment to our cause. With over 30 staff members and more than a thousand volunteer committee members, we work tirelessly to make a positive impact.
