Fundación Oso Pardo (FOP) is a conservation-focused nonprofit organization dedicated to contributing to the study and conservation of the brown bear, its habitat and surrounding environment. Based in Santander, Cantabria, Spain, the foundation works through a range of conservation and outreach initiatives. Its programs include LIFE projects, URSUS, HÁBITAT and HUELLA, as well as work connecting chestnut production, bears and rural development through its bioeconomy initiative.

FOP also supports Las Casas del Oso, a network of themed centers that explore brown bear life, conservation challenges and the relationship between bears and the people who share their territory. The organization provides educational resources about bear populations, habitats, behavior, reproduction, hibernation, climate change and encounters with people. These materials help visitors learn about the species and its conservation.

Individuals and businesses can support the foundation by donating, backing its projects, becoming a friend of the bears or participating as corporate allies. FOP also shares news, publications and updates through its website and newsletter, helping build public awareness and support for brown bear conservation.
