About Fundación Pasos Libres
Fundación Pasos Libres is a renowned organization dedicated to preventing human trafficking through social and technological innovation. They offer a wide range of services and programs aimed at promoting peace and empowering young peacebuilders in Colombia. One of their latest initiatives, Accelerating Peace, funded by the United States Embassy, focuses on accelerating the growth of youth-led peacebuilding initiatives.
The program strengthens their entrepreneurial skills and facilitates partnerships with local and U. S. -based companies through the principles of Corporate Social Responsibility.
The first cohort of 28 selected participants from various regions of Colombia completed the program, which included online training sessions, mentoring, a portfolio showcasing their initiatives, and a Demo Day where they presented their ideas to leading companies and U. S. Embassy representatives.
