About Fundación Pies Descalzos
Fundación Pies Descalzos, created by Shakira in 1997, is a non-profit organization focused on supporting education in Colombia for over 17 years. With a strong belief in the power of education, the foundation works tirelessly to provide quality education to children and adolescents in Colombia. To achieve this, they aim to build 63,000 classrooms, equivalent to 3,000 educational institutions, ensuring that children and teenagers attend school for 188 days a year, 7 hours a day.
